In this Episode – Tree circles
Thanks to the analysis of the tree-trunk-slice it is possible to observe the real growth of the trees.
Antonio shows that in the middle of the trunk the rings are wider, but when observing the last ones, the rings are very close one to each other. This means that in the last years the tree growth has been slower and slower, as a clear sign of a declining forest.
