The Resilient Forest Info Day took place on the afternoon of the 21st of October at the Laboratory for Forest Fires Study, in Lousã, Coimbra (Portugal). The event was organized by the Association for the Development of Industrial Aerodynamics (ADAI).

The meeting gave the opportunity to 18 stakeholders involved in the management of watersheds, to interact and share their knowledge. Maria Gonzalez, the coordinator of the Project, kicked off the meeting with a presentation of the Resilient Forest Project. Jacob Keiser, a scientist from the University of Aveiro presented his works and results on watersheds, on which he has dedicated many studies and efforts. Then, several representatives of local municipalities and other local and national institutions had the chance to explain their strategies of watershed management and, consequently, to prove how a support decision tool like the one developed in this LIFE Resilient Forests Project can be useful for their intents.

At the end of the event, before a socializing cocktail, a debate gave the possibility for all the participants to intervene and express their points of view.
